Challenges for MSUS in Daily Practice in Latin America
About
Session Overview:The assessment and treatment of patients with rheumatic disorders has improved with novel imaging techniques. Although US is part of routine quality care in patients with rheumatic diseases it is not currently a practice in LA, although its contribution may be of value to better/efficiently allocate resources in a region where they are scarce. As practicing rheumatologists in LA, it is important to be familiar with new concepts in US in order to promote its role in clinical and therapy decision processes for patients with rheumatic disorders. A clinical-based approach will be presented during this session
